Access Controls
Access control systems authorise and manage entry to premises, creating a secure barrier that protects property, assets, and people. As technology evolves, many businesses are re-evaluating their existing systems to take advantage of newer, more secure solutions.
After a while, security systems will become aged. With tighter, more efficient security systems being released, upgrading safety with new access security installations will contribute to keeping equipment, assets and people safe.
Our work in installing and upgrading access controls not only strengthens security but also streamlines daily operations for staff and visitors.
Incorporating Access Controls on Your Premises
Access Control systems keep your premises safe. By deterring and restricting unauthorised entry, access control systems keep premises private and secure from uninvited guests.
There are a range of different Access Control systems, with each having functions that are suited to different premises. Systems that we install range from mid-range networked systems offering MIFARE and Mobile credentials to High-security HID ICLASS, SEOS and Biometrics offering the strongest identity verification.
We analyse premises and assist in advising what Access Control system is the right choice, understanding customer requirements to provide a bespoke installation service.

How We Stand Out
Custom Access Solutions
We work to provide access control solutions that suit each customer. Every property and organisation has unique requirements, so each project demands a tailored access control solution. Our approach ensures every system is designed around operational needs and site layout.
From simple video entry to advanced multi-site access control systems, we have experience in the design, installation and maintenance of many sizes of access control systems. Familiar with all technological developments in access controls, our skilled team can install systems that provide real-time identification and contain security measures that fit your requirements.

Thames Reach Employment Academy
Sympathetic Access Controls on Heritage Building
In this Grade II listed building, Choice installed wireless locks to complete Thames Reach Employment Academy’s access control system. Integrating wireless security across the site, we were able to be sensitive to the needs of the building whilst meeting industry standards for installations.
Flexible & Scalable
We have systems that are flexible and scalable to different needs. As we’re not tied to a sole provider, we have a range of access control equipment that is suitable for small businesses to large organisations with thousands of users.
We have experience in delivering both smaller installations and systems that monitor thousands of daily users and keep them safe. With our deep understanding of server performance and system setup, we maximise uptime and reliability, utilising our knowledge on installing access control systems that are as streamlined or as extensive as required.
This flexibility means access control systems can evolve as businesses grow, without costly replacements.

East Sussex College Group
Choice installed an IP-based access control system to connect to ESCG’s existing system in Hastings. 21 perimeter doors and 60 classroom door entry control points have been installed in a system of 16,000 contactless access token ID cards.
Smart User Management
Our systems simplify management of who can access specific areas, when, and for how long, while logging every event for full accountability. This level of control enhances both internal security and operational efficiency.
Smart User Management is designed to increase safety, keeping sensitive areas private and granting specific access to people to suit the needs of the organisation.

Bexley First – Local Government HQ
Integrated Access Control System
At Bexley First, we introduced a PLAN System based on HID proximity ID cards that integrates with other council sites. This has increased the council’s total system size by 120 controlled access points.
Advanced Technologies
Our team has extensive experience with emerging technologies for access controls. Advanced technologies include biometric recognition, ideal for high-security environments. This grants access to approved staff members based on fingerprint and iris recognition.
Other technologies include key fobs, tokens, HID and proximity cards. These are all designed to not only maximise safety but provide convenience to authorised members whilst maintaining strong protection and security in the premises.
For access controls for exterior areas of properties, automatic number plate recognition (ANPR) systems can be installed to monitor and control vehicle access to the premises. This prohibits any unwarranted guests at the first hurdle and offers the chance to create a stronger audit trail of data if required.

Peer 1 Hosting
Biometric Door Control
13 new Biometric fingerprint readers were installed on doors to increase Peer 1’s level of access control. We also expanded the existing system without interruption, feeding all data to a virtual server that reports live events from their data center and two offices in Southampton and London.
Smart Integration
By integrating Internet of Things (IoT) technology into access control systems, we’re able to create a network of devices that are interconnected with each other, enabling remote, real-time monitoring and entry point management. By leveraging this, we’re able to deliver smart integration strategies to access control systems, improving security.
By utilising IoT sensors, this enables tracking to happen in real-time, improving emergency response and highlights insights of building usage. Smart integration takes advantage of emerging technology to create a network of better-connected access control equipment to transform security, protection and monitoring of different premises.
Smart integration also enables centralised control across multiple sites, perfect for organisations with distributed facilities.

First Line Ltd – Automotive Parts Distribution Centre
Access Controls to Secure Areas
Our system installation was required to protect sensitive areas of First Line’s premises, but to also provide time and attendance reports for the staff. This allows First Line to use the access control system as a register in emergency situations, automatically sending a rollcall to a connected printer.
